Clinical Interest / Focus

Dr. Hall-Schwarz provides psychotherapy for Individuals, Couples, Adolescents, Families, and Groups. Dr. Hall-Schwarz believes symptoms are signals received from both the conscious and unconscious mind as well as from various sources through the body. This is often an indication something is wrong. By avoiding these indicators, clients with extending and spiriling issues are often certain to end up in a complex and convoluted crises. By collaborating and developing a trusting relationship with clients, it is then possible to maximize understanding and allow relaxation-thus having the opportunity whereby the body may release it's own natural healing abilities.

In today's society it is obvious that one's weaknesses or problems such as anger, insecurity, fear of intimacy, and the need to control are expressions of a wounded child within. Dr. Hall-Schwarz looks forward to working with clients to promote healing and providing closure to old wounds.

Much of society has been wounded to some degree through abuse or dysfunctional families that have left unresolved issues. Many conflicts tend to carry-over into our adult functioning, romantic relationships, parenting, and even in our career. Through a trusting relationship, Dr. Hall-Schwarz utilizes an integrative approach with issues of interest including: marriage issues, relationship issues, divorce, remarriage-blended families, relocation, court cases, depression, anxiety, self esteem issues, communication, stress, life transitions, anxiety, abuse, trauma, grief, career, and women's issues.
